Colleen Redpath Feger proudly serves as the Springfield City Treasurer, bringing more than two decades of experience in public service and financial management to the office. After serving as Deputy Treasurer, she was elected City Treasurer in 2023 and has remained committed to protecting taxpayer dollars through responsible financial stewardship, transparency, and accountability.
A lifelong Springfield resident, Colleen grew up on the city's north end, where she learned the importance of hard work, integrity, and serving others. Before joining the City of Springfield, she worked in the banking industry, building a strong foundation in financial operations that continues to benefit the Treasurer's Office today.
Since taking office, Colleen has focused on maximizing investment returns, modernizing financial processes, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring every taxpayer dollar is managed responsibly. She has also earned multiple professional certifications in public finance and investments, reflecting her commitment to continued education and excellence in public service.
Colleen is a graduate of Ursuline Academy High School and earned her Associate's Degree from Lincoln Land Community College.
Colleen and her husband, Josh, have been married for over 20 years and are proud parents of two children. Their family remains deeply rooted in Springfield, and Colleen is honored to continue serving the community she has always called home.
